Place: DeLeon Springs, FL. History: Theodore Strawn bought orange groves in Glenwood and started the "Bob White" brand. He had a packing house which burned in 1921, and was rebuilt. Many of the old buildings which comprised the operation have been preserved here, and on a parcel of land about 1/2 mile northeast of the entrance to the springs. 03/32 |
